Community Projections
a community-driven art project
COMMUNITY PROJECTIONS
Want to be a part of an interactive art installation for this year's Project North Festival? We are now taking submissions for a three dimensional community-driven work of art that will be projected on a building in the center of the festival grounds. All you need to do is create and submit an image or short video using the template provided below and your submission will be incorporated into a looping installation that is precisely mapped onto the unique architecture of a building.
If you are interested in participating, please read through all of the required parameters to ensure that your submission is properly formatted for the installation.
The final projected installation will be looped on the festival grounds both days starting as soon as the sun sets until the festival grounds close at 11pm.
RULES

TEMPLATE
Please use the template below to ensure your design is properly formatted for the space. You can use the photo of the space for reference as well. You do not need to incorporate every element in the template, but the more precise you are, the better the result will be when it is projected at the festival. We cannot guarantee that every design that is submitted will line up perfectly, but we will work to ensure the best viewing experience possible.
You can use this template in two ways. The first way is the easiest method.
- Download the template image below to use in a software of your choosing by right clicking on the image and selecting "Save to downloads" or "Save as..."
- Use THIS TEMPLATE (click here) in the online image editor Canva (you can access it with a free account)
Submissions are now closed for 2024.
