Songwriting Contest
Calling all amateur songwriters! The Project North Songwriting Contest is now accepting entries.
All entries must be received by September 1, 2022. No late submissions will be accepted.
- Contestants may perform as a solo or duo.
- Each song submitted must be the contestants original work.
- Songs must not be longer than 5 minutes per song.
- No song previously recorded and released through national distribution is eligible.
- Contest is open to amateur songwriters.
- Contestants will be judged on: lyrics, melody, composition. Finalists will be judged on: lyrics, melody, composition, performance and stage presence.
- All submissions must be received BY September 1, 2022. No late submissions will be accepted.
- Finalists will be notified by email on or about September 5, 2022.
- Finalists will perform on Saturday, September 17, afternoon: exact time TBD on the Eco Village Stage.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finalists. $25 for third place; $50 for second place; $75 for first place and a chance to perform on the main music stage on Saturday night.
- All finalists will receive one 2-day pass to Project North and will have their name listed on the Project North website.
- Registration fee is nonrefundable
